Making a claim

‘On the spot’ in your Provider’s rooms
This is your most common and convenient way to claim. Most Extras Providers will participate in a system known as HICAPS which allows the Provider to simply swipe your Membership card and which arranges a claim against your policy. It’s a secure system that works in a similar way to credit cards in retail stores. You may need to pay the Provider for any difference between the benefit payable under your and the Providers fee.

You can submit a claim by taking  a photo of your receipt.

By email

Download, print and complete a claim form here. Scan the completed claim form with the Provider’s receipt and email it to us at enquiries@transporthealth.com.au

Claim by post

Download and print a claim form here or call us on 1300 806 808 and we can send one out to you. Complete the form and post it back to us at:

How do we pay claims refunds?

If you have already paid for a covered service and you require a reimbursement we can credit your nominated bank account. 

Please log onto the Member Services to provide or update your bank account details to take advantage of this option.

Alternatively, if you haven't paid for a covered service, we can issue a cheque to your provider. If we don't have your provider's address we will send the cheque to you to pass on.
